The role:
Reporting to the UK Sales & Marketing Director, leading digital sales strategy in the UK & Ireland. Responsible for creating a successful online shopping experience which optimises digital marketing efforts and maximises revenue, whilst building strong relationships with market leading online retailers.
Responsibilities will include:
- Developing and executing an e-commerce strategy within the UK
- Integrating devised e-commerce platform with existing logistical frameworks
- Building and managing relationships with major online retailers
- Executing digital marketing campaigns
- Ensuring seamless customer journey from site navigation to purchase
- Recruiting a digital marketing team once the platform is up and running
The person:
- Experience in sales and account management within the grocery or FMCG sector
- Track record of winning and managing key accounts and hitting targets
- Able to upsell both brand and 'private label' technical capabilities
- Negotiating and managing relationships with stakeholders
- Leadership and team management exposure
- Proficiency in sales software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
