Our client is a reputable and established supplier of high-quality products to the construction industry. As their success continues to grow, they are now seeking a proactive, efficient, and experienced Sales Support Administrator to join their small but dynamic team. In this role, you will play a vital part in supporting the sales team and ensuring the seamless operation of various sales-focused processes. Your composed and proactive approach will be essential in navigating the ever-changing landscape of this thriving sales department.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- Distribute incoming calls to the appropriate team member
- Accurately & promptly process orders using order processing system
- Provide warehouse with precise dispatch notes to ensure timely packing and dispatching of goods
- Book on orders with appropriate courier
- Create pro-forma invoices when pre-payment is required
- Create Worldpay payment links for pre-payment
- Update online orders with accurate status and notes accordingly
- Follow online filing system routinely
- Deal with order/delivery enquiries promptly, and liaising with colleagues to resolve issues swifty, with customer satisfaction always at the forefront
- To provide ongoing support for the Sales team as required
Future additional responsibilities
- To confidently take sales enquiries via telephone & email
- Formulate quotations across all product sets
- Assist with stock management including stock take and warehouse queries
Key skills & experience
- Construction industry background and/or knowledge preferred but not essential
- Minimum 2 years office administration experience ideally within a Sales environment
- Strong organisational skills, with confidence to prioritise tasks effectively
- Passionate about delivering the highest quality customer service
- Proven experience working with online ordering systems including CRM management
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Must be able to work harmoniously & effectively as part of a small and established team
- Ability to confidently multi-task and show flexibility
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Confident system operator
- Intermediate working experience with Microsoft 365
