Are you a natural problem solver with excellent customer service skills? Are you looking for an opportunity to join a dynamic team? Our client, a leading manufacturer who supplies to clients across the globe, is seeking a Sales Support Executive to join their team in Bolton.
Responsibilities:
- Be the first point of contact for inbound calls, supporting the Sales Support Manager and providing excellent customer service.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing and new customers, offering advice and answering their questions.
- Review and monitor all sales orders, proactively informing customers of any production or delivery issues.
- Prepare and send samples to existing and potential customers as directed by the sales team.
- Set up and maintain customer accounts in the CRM system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date information.
- Update the CRM database with competitor information and ensure merchant contact details are always current.
- Arrange and administer the export of goods with key accounts, including customs clearance.
- Collaborate with production to ensure efficient lead times.
- Administer website order processing and review shipping quotes for global customers.
- Log customer price enquiries, provide price quotes, and monitor success rates using the CRM system.
- Provide ad hoc sales data to the sales team, utilising reporting software on a timely basis.
- Handle sales order administration, including providing quotes based on the standard price list.
- Acknowledge and confirm sales orders with customers, advising them of delivery dates.
- Coordinate with warehouse team for order despatch and raise invoices in a timely manner.
- Order and maintain stocks of sales literature and point of sale materials.
- Support general office administration tasks and provide assistance to the field sales team as required.
- Undertake project work and other tasks assigned by the Internal Sales Manager.
- Support the National Sales Manager in an administrative capacity as needed.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a customer service or sales support role - essential
- Experience of dealing with global shipments/deliveries - essential
- Knowledge of customs paperwork and declarations
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to build and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and MS Office Suite including Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
