Job Description :

We are currently recruiting for a Sales Support Manager for large commercial manufacturers to head up the internal account management department managing large project intake quotations & handling general trade queries, complaints, escalations, order processing, project intake, project management, logistical handling, freight tracking, stock management, & relationship oversight.

The client we are currently representing are a large product manufacturers who specialise in facilities equipment supply directly to large retail accounts & general construction trades.

Description

Key responsibilities consist of:

  • Proactively contact customers whose instruments are nearing the end of life to discuss suitable alternatives.
  • Reach out to existing customers who have become inactive to re-engage them.
  • Take ownership of all portable enquiries, pre-qualifying them and consulting with team members as needed throughout the sales pipeline until the deal is won or lost.
  • Identify opportunities to upsell and cross-sell products and services that best serve customer needs.
  • Manage targeted campaigns on LinkedIn to promote product and service offerings.
  • Oversee the service reminder process, ensuring all service instruments-including those not originally sold by us-are recorded in our system, followed up on, and maintained in the SAP database.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to implement strategies for nurturing existing customers.
  • Lead focused initiatives to secure and retain business where we have exclusivity.
  • Provide coverage for external PSMs during holidays, exhibitions, or conferences.
  • Research and evaluate new technologies to assess their potential impact on the business and identify key target markets.
  • Develop useful tools and reference materials to support team training and development.
  • Actively listen to customers and gather insights to assist with pre-sales inquiries.
