Are you a salesforce integration and optimisation expert? Do you have experience working within Finance & IT teams?
If so, we are seeking a Salesforce Project Lead to join our client on a contract basis, initially for 3-6 months.
Our client is a fast growth Tech/software consulting business, with offices across Europe and APAC.
This role will work closely with the senior members of the finance and operations teams - responsible for planning and overseeing Salesforce integration and optimisation in the business.
You will perform a Salesforce health check and build a roadmap for optimisation and integration with the other finance and business systems, such as Netsuite.
The business has the budget to pay a flexible day rate (outside IR35). Based in Central London, with only occasional requirements to attend the office.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Salesforce project from requirements definition through implementation and delivery, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and project implementation plans, including risk mitigation and stakeholder management.
- Integrating Salesforce with other finance and business systems, including Netsuite, Avalara, OneStream etc.
- Perform Salesforce health check, and advise on Salesforce customisation, integrations, performance and workflows.
- Ensure capability of Salesforce across financial tasks including business forecasting, multiyear contracts, reporting revenue recognition and more.
- Coordinate internal and external resources.
- Develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation.
- Analyse project progress and, when necessary, adapt scope, timelines, and costs.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, providing day-to-day contact on project status and changes. Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Perform business analyst tasks if no other resources are available.
- Work with other project managers and key stakeholders across Finance, IT and other teams to ensure proper resource management and prioritisation in alignment with group-wide initiatives.
Role Requirements:
- Experience across Finance and IT - qualifications in finance/project management/business analysis is beneficial.
- Proven success working on Salesforce projects and helping to integrate across other Finance & IT systems.
- Experience optimising Salesforce across a business.
- Experience working with NetSuite strongly preferred.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to deadlines and budgetary guidelines.
- Comfortable managing multiple tasks and outstanding in creating priorities.
