Sameday Transport Controller - Transport & Logistics - Greater Manchester - Up to £30,000About the CompanyAn exciting opportunity has arisen to work for one of the the UK's leading and rapidly expanding Sameday Transport Companies based in their busy GREATER MANCHESTER office. The role of SAMEDAY TRANSPORT OPERATOR is to provide a high level of support to the control and operations of the Sameday / Logistics Transport Service Centre and ensure a high level of customer service from booking to completion.To apply for the role all candidates must have had previous experience working for a Sameday / Logistics courier company or worked within Express Parcels or a general transport environment.Sameday Transport Controller - The Rewards

Sameday Transport Controller - Responsibilities

• Taking bookings and allocating jobs to drivers
• Entering data into the CRM system
• Dealing with quotations
• Communicate effectively with drivers ensuring cost and revenue targets are met in relation to predetermined gross margin and profit targets
• Complete debrief with drivers based on the service level agreements for specific contracts

Sameday Transport Controller - Requirements

• Sameday / Logistics / Transport operations experience is a MUST
• Good IT skills
• Driven and motivated to achieve targets
• Communication skills
• Good organisational skills
