SAP Implementation Accountant - Robert Half : Job Details

The Permanent Division of Robert Half is currently recruiting for a Sap Implementation Accountant on behalf of a specialist Manufacturing business with offices in Bedford.

The Role

As Sap Implementation Accountant you will support the Heads of Finance in providing pivotal support to the Finance Team in ensuring the success of the implementation.

Day to day duties will consist of:

• Produce a detailed end-to-end documentation of all current SAP process.
• Facilitate the integration of the new SAP4Hana system to replace current SAP system.
• Identify, agree with the wider finance team, optimal solution for the business.
• Co-ordinate with the SAP project lead and identify a finance SAP implementation plan including all necessary documentation.
• Co-ordinate with heads of business to ensure data migration and data cleansing activities are addressed to the satisfaction of the wider finance team.
• Key Finance representative at ERP meetings and co-ordinate with Parent company Finance representative.
• Lead internal ERP catch ups and reviews with appropriate heads of department.
• Attend monthly communications with other implementation entities.
• Document all decisions and reasoning's for future reference.
• Coordinate user acceptance testing with relevant department/team members.
• Support parallel running of current and new SAP systems to ensure smooth implementation of system.
• Other Ad hoc support of Finance activities where required.

Your Profile

You will ideally be a Qualified Accountant and have previous experience of working through a systems implementation project ideally Sap4Hana and with an ability to work cross functionally within and outside finance into other stakeholder areas.
