SAP Implementation Lead - 18 month FTC

Based in Maidenhead, Berkshire, our client a market leader in their field, is looking for a SAP Implementation Lead to be the key point of contact for their European SAP upgrade, on an 18 month FTC.

Reporting to the European CFO and the SAP Implementation Lead will be the key European Finance point of contact for the SAP Upgrade to latest version of SAP S/4 Hana cloud, ensuring that European requirements are incorporated in the system design, while working closely with the SAP Solution Team, and with the European and North American Business. The SAP Implementation Lead will support the design and implementation of end-to-end Record to Report processes including areas of OTC and PTP with a Finance focus and will closely co-ordinate with Credit Collection, Accounts Payable, and Operations Finance in the European SSC and the Finance teams across Europe in delivery of the SAP ERP system.

The Ideal candidate for the SAP Implementation Lead:

• Qualified Accountant and/or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or similar and minimum of 10 years of relevant experience

• Demonstrated understanding of SAP business end to end processes in the RTR area and financial integration with OTC area and PTP area.
• Previous experience leading a project workstream is preferred
• Strong project management, project planning, and ability to manage multiple deadlines is required
• Experience in organizational change management

• Strong experience modernizing finance technology in Europe with SAP cloud

• Strong data analytic skills and ability to summarize the findings
• Self-motivated with desire for continuous improvement
• Able to analyse problems and strategize for better solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
