SAP Senior Technical Developer - Vaucluse Associates : Job Details

Role Description:

As an SAP Senior Developer, you will play a crucial role in developing, testing, and supporting core tax engine and indirect tax solutions using SAP, particularly for the next-generation product offering that integrates SAP Fiori. Your main responsibility will be implementing new functionalities to meet evolving indirect tax regulations while maintaining and improving clients' solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Development: Translate business requirements and functional specifications into technical specifications. Develop and implement new functionalities for the tax engine.
• Software Lifecycle Management: Assist in maintaining the software lifecycle using the SAP Add-On Assembly Kit, including integration testing, releases, and upgrades.
• Product Support & Troubleshooting: Provide technical support, troubleshoot client issues, and resolve product problems.
• Interface Development: Create scalable interfaces to integrate with external systems and client solutions.
• Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation and user guides to ensure continuous system updates and improvements.

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years as an ABAP developer (SAP Technical Consultant). For senior-level roles, 15+ years of experience is expected.
• Technical Expertise: Knowledge of the SAPUI5 framework, SAP Fiori Elements, CDS views, OData services, and SAP Fiori app extensions is advantageous. Experience with Clean Core/ABAP Cloud, and building applications on the SAP BTP Platform is a plus.
• Module Experience: Familiarity with SAP Sales and Distribution (SD) and Material Management (MM) modules.
• Problem-Solving: Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Language: Fluency in English is required.
