Reed Education is partnering with a local school in Sussex to recruit a School Administrator. This interim position offers an immediate start with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate. Day-to-day of the role:
- Handle incoming queries both via telephone and face-to-face at the reception.
- Perform general administrative duties such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Coordinate all administrative processes to ensure smooth operations within the school environment.
- Support students by addressing their queries and providing necessary assistance.
- Manage student records and databases with high accuracy and confidentiality.
- Assist in financial and budgeting activities to support the school’s financial management.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within an educational setting.
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in using office software and managing databases.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Candidates will be subject to an enhanced DBS check and must provide 2 years of references, in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education.
