School Caretaker - Classroom Teachers Ltd : Job Details

Classroom Teachers Ltd are always seeking skilled and experienced School Caretakers to work in educational units based throughout London.

The role Monday to Friday 7:30am -3:30pm

Your day will consist of the following duties:

• Opening the building in the morning
• General school maintenance for the building and grounds.
• Repairing faults across the school and playgrounds.
• Conducting fire safety , security and H&S checks for the site.
• Event set up and take down.
• Support and assist colleagues to conduct specific/ad hoccaretaking tasks when required
• Ensuring the school and grounds are clean and tidy
• Dealing with both external and internal contractors
• Grounds work

The role can be an ongoing position, but may turn permanent for the right candidate.

Please note: Classroom Teachers Ltd undertake checks on all of our candidates in line with safeguarding legislation. As such, we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in schools. If you do not hold a subscription to the DBS Update Service, we will require you to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.
