School Cleaner - Reed : Job Details

• Location: Preston Primary School 
• Hours: Option 1: Mon/Wed/Fri, 3:30 PM - 6:00 PM; Option 2: 2 hours/day, 4 days/week

Reed/LTA are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards at a vibrant primary school. The ideal candidate will have prior cleaning experience, preferably within a school environment. This role is crucial in providing a safe and clean learning environment for the children.

• Perform general cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to ensure areas are tidy.
• Clean and sanitise toilets, classrooms, and common areas.
• Replenish supplies in bathrooms and kitchen areas.
• Ensure waste is collected and disposed of properly.
• Follow health and safety regulations while handling cleaning chemicals.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during cleaning.

• Previous cleaning experience, preferably in a school setting.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good physical condition to perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Understanding of health and safety practices related to cleaning.
