This role is crucial in delivering targeted interventions to students who require assistance with cognitive learning and behavioural challenges. • Delivering tailored interventions to enhance students’ reading skills and cognitive learning, which focuses on maximising the brain’s potential and deepening memory retention.
• Supporting students with SEMH needs, helping them manage their behaviour and emotions effectively within the school environment.
• Collaborating with teachers and other educational professionals to create a supportive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Monitoring and reporting on the progress of interventions, adapting strategies to meet the individual needs of each student.
• Engaging with students in a manner that is both supportive and inspiring, encouraging them to achieve their best.

• Proven experience in a similar role or a role requiring transferable skills, particularly within SEN settings.
• Confidence in handling challenging behaviours and a passion for going above and beyond to support children with special needs.
• Team Teach training is preferable.
• Must possess a DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one.
