School Site Agent - Newstaff Employment : Job Details

Newstaff are looking for School Site Agents for roles across Bunckinghamshire and Bedfordshire. We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated and reliable individuals that have experience in a similar role. 

Job role and responsibilities in brief: 

• Responsible for the maintenance of the school site and grounds includes light painting, plumbing, building, cleaning.  
• Responsible for the health and safety and security of the school site and grounds at all times
• Carry out porterage such as moving table and chairs for events. 
• Handy person duties such as moving table and chairs
• May need to help with cleaning at times
• Supervise external contractors
• Make safe and electrical and Gas issues.
• Carry out and record required health and safety checks
• Report any issues to site manager

Desired and essential requirements:

• Have experiences in a similar role
• Good communication skills
• Knowledge of using computors 
• Knowledge of controlling mechanical and electrical equipment
• Knowledge of safe working practices
• Experience of working as a team
• Be fit and healthy as there will be some heavy lifting 
• Have knowledge of security and security systems
• Must have driving license and car
• have good communication skills
