School Support Worker - SEN Experience Needed!

Position: School Support Worker

Location: Stevenage

Hourly Rate: £13.33 - £15 (depending on experience)

Contract: Long-term, full-time (8:30 - 15:30)

  • Understanding of SEN: Experience or a strong interest in addressing the unique learning and behavioural needs of students in an SEN setting.
  • Local Candidate: Ideally, you will live within commuting distance of Stevenage.

What is required:

  • Support a range of students with diverse needs, including autism, ADHD, and communication difficulties.
  • Collaborate with the clinical and educational team to deliver effective interventions and support strategies.
  • Assist in the development of individual learning plans tailored to meet the needs of each student.
  • Provide emotional and pastoral support to foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment for students.
