We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher with a specialism in Chemistry to join a vibrant secondary school in Harrogate. This position is open to both full-time and part-time applicants.

Job Type: Full-time or Part-time

Start Date: January 2025

Requirements:

• Relevant qualifications, including QTS or equivalent.
• Experience teaching Chemistry at KS4 and ideally KS5.
• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for the sciences.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging and challenging lessons in Chemistry, with a focus on KS4 and KS5.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing tailored support to ensure success.
• Collaborate with colleagues to create an inspiring and inclusive learning environment.
• Uphold school policies and maintain high standards of behaviour and engagement in the classroom.
