Science Technician - Tradewind Recruitment : Job Details

Are you enthusiastic about science and eager to support engaging, hands-on learning in a dynamic secondary school?

Tradewind are looking for a dedicated Science Technician to join a large secondary school in Oldham.

This is a full-time, long-term role, beginning ASAP.

Responsibilities:

• Preparing chemicals, materials, and equipment for science experiments
• Safely storing and disposing of hazardous substances, in line with COSHH regulations and general procedures in a laboratory setting
• Supporting teachers and students during practical activities
• Maintaining a clean and organised lab environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Science Technician or in a similar role
• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS Disclosure
• Provide professional references
