Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated Science Teacher looking to inspire the next generation of scientists? We are seeking a passionate and experienced Science Teacher/Specialist to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a thriving Science department and shape young minds through engaging and innovative teaching methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across [Key Stages/Year Groups].

  • Foster a stimulating and inclusive learning environment where all students feel motivated and supported.

  • Use a range of teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles and abilities.

  • Assess, monitor, and provide constructive feedback to students to track progress and encourage achievement.

  • Participate in extracurricular activities, such as Science clubs, competitions, and educational trips.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement an inspiring curriculum.

  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in Science education and pedagogy.

  • Maintain high expectations of students’ behavior and attainment, in line with school policies.

Essential Requirements:
  • A degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related field).

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Experience teaching Science at [Key Stage levels required].

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • A passion for Science education and a commitment to student success.

  • The ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.

  • Excellent classroom management skills.

Desirable Qualifications & Experience:
  • Experience in teaching A-Level Science subjects.

  • Previous experience in a leadership or subject coordinator role.

  • Experience with STEM initiatives and extracurricular Science activities.
