The network has more than 354 locations across 60 countries and with 13,000 employees serving alliance customers and attending to the details of their business round the clock, around the globe.We are now looking for an Sea Freight Exports Clerk based at our clients global freight forwarding team in SloughYou will arrange and manage the transportation cycle by sea freight and ensure all necessary paperwork is completed to ensure a seamless serviceYour role will involve:* Create and issue Freight quotations for Seafreight Exports * Booking shipments with shipping lines * Negotiating rates with shipping lines * Arranging collections with the transport department or sub-contractors * Prepare, control & distribute all required export documentation to counterparts complying with regulations & internal procedures * Follow up on sea freight shipment status, identify incidents & ensure resolution of incidents * Handling customer enquiries and maintaining relationships Skills and experience required:* We require an individual who is a competent Sea Freight Export Executive with strong sea freight exports experience. * You will have previous experience of working for an freight forwarder in a Sea freight export team. * You must have solid experience in Sea Freight Exports and be able to hit the ground runningPackage and Benefits * Start Date - ASAP* Salary up to £28,000 to £34,000 per annum per annum depending on level of experience * Pension* 25 Days holiday * Bonus
