ASD Teaching Assistant - Secondary SEN - GreenwichAre you an experienced ASD SEND Teaching Assistant looking for your next role? Are you confident to support students in secondary school?We are currently supporting a SEN Secondary school based in Greenwich who are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, empathetic and reliable ASD SEND Teaching Assistant to join their team for the whole of this academic year.The role will start as soon as possible, it will be full time and will continue throughout the academic year and could become permanent for the right person. You will be supporting pupils who are aged 11 to 16 years old. You may be working with a small group or at times, on a 121 basis. The school require someone who has a good,strong understanding of ASD, trauma and brain injuries and be able to put boundaries in place whilst building a positive relationship with the students. Ideally, you will be Team Teach trained. There could be times where the pupil can display some behavioural difficulties.The team at this school are dedicated to continuously working closely with parents and carers to provide the best possible outcome for each child.
