Secondary - Cover Supervisor - Reed : Job Details

Are you a passionate Cover Supervisor or Teacher seeking flexible work during term-time?

Do you have experience in secondary classrooms and are available for Cover Supervising? If so, REED Education has an exciting opportunity for you!

We are partnering with various secondary schools in the area to appoint Cover Supervisors who will support students in the absence of their regular teachers. This role offers flexible hours from Monday to Friday, typically from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm.

What you’ll do:

• Deliver Pre-Prepared Lessons: Carry out exercises left by the absent teacher.
• Classroom Management: Ensure students remain focused and on task.
• Support Across Subjects: Cover lessons in various subjects without the need to create lesson plans.
• Communication: Leave detailed handover notes for the returning teacher.

Skills you’ll need:

• Strong written and verbal communication
• Ability to build strong relationships
• Patience and excellent organisation

No specific qualifications are required, but previous relevant experience and transferable skills are essential.
