Secondary - Cover Supervisor - Reed : Job Details

• Job Type: Temporary to Permanent (12 weeks)
• Salary: £130 - £153 per day

We are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join a dynamic school team in Haverhill. This role is ideal for candidates who demonstrate a strong classroom presence and are looking for a temporary position with the potential to become permanent. The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday, supporting students and ensuring a conducive learning environment.

• Supervise classes in the absence of the teacher.
• Ensure the classroom environment remains safe and conducive to learning.
• Engage students with the material provided by the teacher.
• Manage classroom behaviour effectively.
• Maintain a positive and respectful learning atmosphere.
• Report back on the day’s activities as required by school protocol.

• Strong classroom management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to adhere to and enforce school policies and procedures.
• Experience in a similar role would be advantageous but is not essential.
