Secondary - General Cover Teacher - Reed : Job Details

• Rate: From £110 per day

• Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for passionate and dedicated General Cover Teachers to join us and work with our schools in Maidenhead.  As a General Cover Teacher, you will ensure continuity during teacher absences and uphold our standard of quality education. Or be in a long-term role as inhouse cover teacher, covering a range of different subjects each week.

• Deliver engaging lessons across various subjects and year groups, ensuring that learning objectives are met.
• Quickly adapt to different classroom environments and cater to diverse student needs.
• Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents to create a supportive learning community.
• Follow existing lesson plans while maintaining a positive and conducive learning atmosphere.
• Utilise effective classroom management techniques to promote a respectful and focused environment.

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred but not essential.
• Flexibility to work full-time from Monday to Friday.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for teaching.
• Proven ability to manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain discipline.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
