History Teacher
- Annual Salary: £145 - £211 per day (depending on qualifications and experience)

We are seeking a dedicated History Teacher to join our team in Cambridgeshire. This role involves planning and marking responsibilities, working Monday to Friday from 08:30 to 15:30. The ideal candidate will have a passion for history and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging history lessons that meet curriculum standards.
- Mark and assess students’ work, providing constructive feedback to support their academic growth.
- Develop and use a variety of teaching techniques and materials that reflect recent educational research.
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a good learning environment.
- Participate in departmental meetings, parent meetings, and whole school training events.
- Continuously update personal knowledge of the subject area and pedagogic methods.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Enhanced DBS for children and adults, or willingness to obtain one.
- Teaching qualifications such as QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) are preferred but not essential.
- Proven experience in teaching history or a related subject.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
- Commitment to professional development and maintaining high teaching standards.
