We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join our dynamic team, teaching KS3, KS4, and KS5 students. This role is ideal for someone with a passion for education and a deep understanding of all sciences. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape young minds in a supportive and thriving environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Deliver engaging and informative lessons across KS3, KS4, and KS5 Maths curriculum.
- Take responsibility for the progress of all classes taught.
- Plan, prepare, and present lessons that cater to the needs of the whole ability range within their class.
- Maintain discipline in accordance with the school’s procedures and encourage good practice with regard to punctuality, behaviour, standards of work, and homework.
- Use a range of appropriate strategies and follow school policies for teaching, behaviour management, and classroom management.
- Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of students.
- Participate in arrangements for examinations and assessments.
- Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices, and procedures.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a PGCE.
- Strong background in teaching Maths, with secondary experience.
- Ability to create an inclusive learning environment.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Experience in planning, marking, and managing a full timetable.
- Capable of managing a form group.
