Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant - North London

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Secondary SEN Teaching Assistant to join a school team in North London, starting as soon as possible to support the education and training sector and make a meaningful impact. The school is looking for applicants who are proactive and enthusiastic about supporting students in a secondary school setting.

• Start date: Immediate
• Location:North London
• Setting: Working with SEN pupils in a secondary school environment.
• Responsibilities: SEN Teaching Assistants must effectively support students with diverse needs, including but not limited to Autism, Learning Difficulties, Physical Needs, some Non-verbal students, and students with challenging behavior. May include assisting with personal care.
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week, with assignments based on experience.
• Class sizes: 8-12 students, with many opportunities for one-on-one support.
• Salary: £85-£95 per day

• Candidates must have a valid CHILD & ADULT DBS or be willing to apply for one.
• A passion for education and training with a proactive, engaging approach.
• Strong communication and listening skills.
• Ability to reliably commute to North London.
• Previous experience in a similar role supporting SEN students is ideal.
