As a Secondary Teaching Assistant, you will be helping to improve standards across the school in the core subjects, working with children on a 1:1 and small group basis to plug gaps in their knowledge and understanding, or challenge children further through questioning and investigation.

JOB DESCRIPTION - Secondary Teaching Assistant

• Secondary Teaching Assistant

• Supporting a core subject across the school

• Working with children on a 1:1 and small group basis

• Raising standards of achievement

• Working alongside a fantastic team ofSecondary Teachers

• Long Term & Full Time - until at least July 2025

• £85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Secondary Teaching Assistant

• Must have a Degree from a reputable University

• Good academics across the board are essential - GCSEs & A Levels

• Perfect for aspiring Secondary Teachers!

• Confidence within your ability is essential

• Ability to use own initiative and be an active team player
