Section Engineer - Randstad Construction & Property : Job Details

My client is currently recruiting for a Section Engineer in the Gateshead area to join them on a Permanent basis. This is to work for an award winning civil engineering company to work on marine engineering projects around the UK. Due to the nature of the work you must be happy to work away.

Pay rate: £35-55k per annum dependant on experience

Responsibilities;

• Plan and organise: Develop project schedules, budgets, and cost reports
• Supervise: Manage a team of engineers and technicians, and junior engineers
• Ensure compliance: Make sure the project complies with company and project systems, including health, safety, and environmental standards
• Communicate: Work with other teams, including site management, technical specialists, and planners
• Produce records: Create accurate records, drawing registers, and weekly diaries
• Ensure resources: Make sure the site has the resources it needs to complete the tasks

What we need;

• Past experience working on marine projects
• Relevant qualification such as SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid
• Full understanding of procurement of civil engineering works including preparation of specifications and current Health & Safety legislation for Civil Engineering.
• Right to work in the UK
• 2 professional references
