About The Role
Introduction and overall purpose of the roleReporting into the senior security event manager at the NEC campus, the security event manager will work as part of the security event management team, planning and delivering event security on the NEC campus. This role will also work closely with the security duty managers and the campus traffic and logistics manager.
Location:EnglandVacancy Type:Permanent Full TimeHours Per Week:42.5Main Duties & Responsibilities of the RoleDeliver security event management across the NEC Campus.Complete security event management administration on time and to the correct standard, including forecasts, costings, dot plans, security risk assessments and invoicing.Plan and deliver security for events across the NEC Campus.Manage relationships with the NEC event management team.Constantly review processes for efficiencies and smarter workingBuild relationships with external partners including but not limited to the NEC Group, Local authority, campus tenants and emergency services.Liaise with the client, trade association and other forums to ensure best practice and effective service delivery.Provide management direction for the NEC event security team, I.e., standards, culture and performance.Support with the management of the casual workforce, this includes identifying recruitment, liaising with the scheduling department and HR.2.1 Educational Level* Diploma or certificate in Security Risk Management of equivalent field (Desirable)2.2 Professional Qualifications required for the job-(particularly for compliance purposes or technical requirements of the role)* SIA Door Supervisor* SIA CCTV License* First Aid at Work* IOSH* NeBOSH (Desirable)2.3 Experience -previous experience -desirable/essential for technical competence of the role* Experience in security management* Experience in the events or conference sector* Project Management2.4 Personal Characteristics/Attributes* A strong communicator* Dependable* Flexible* Driven* Team Worker* Self-driven* Time management
