Security Officer - OCS Group : Job Details

About The RoleSummary & Purpose of the Role- Maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by patrolling and monitoring premises and personnel.- Provide a customer friendly, reassuring, professional security presence.- Provide a visible security contact for customers and staff.- Provide excellent customer service.- Deterring anti-social behaviour, theft, and criminal activity.- Liaising with the Police and store management where required.- Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.-Dealing with any difficult situations that arise in a safe and professional manner.- This role is a dual role position where security officer is the primary role, but, when necessary, the officer will need to cover the control room.Essential:-Customer service and interpersonal skills-Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)-SIA license - DS or Security-SIA CCTV- not essential as training will be provided.- Previous experience of working in a Retail Security Role is an advantage but not essential as full training will be given.Experience:

• SIA (required)

• SIA licence (CCTV Desirable)
• Experience of working partnerships with clients
• Able to demonstrate an understanding of high-quality service delivery and their impact on this
• The ability to be agile and flexible to meet the needs and demands of the role
• Excellent time management organisation and focus on ability to prioritise and multitask with clear ability to focus on detail
