Security Officers - Birmingham - Venn Group : Job Details

Venn Group are currently recruiting for Security Officers to join a dedicated team at a site in Birmingham on a temporary 3-month contract, with the potential to go permanent for the right candidates.

Location: West Midlands

Salary: £12-14 per hour

Contract: 3 months, potential to be permanent based on performance

Responsibilities:

• Desk Duties: Half your time will be spent behind the desk, ensuring visitors and contractors are checked in/out efficiently and operations run smoothly
• Site Patrolling: The other half involves patrolling the site to maintain a visible security presence and ensure safety. Some buildings have up to 10 floors, so physical fitness is essential
• Emergency Response: Respond to any incidents or emergencies that may arise across the site

Ideal Candidate:

• Problem Solvers: Capable of de-escalating situations calmly and effectively
• Physically Fit: Able to handle the physical demands of patrols and emergency responses
• Computer-Savvy: Competent in Microsoft Office and basic IT systems.

An SIA license is not essential but is a bonus. Most importantly, candidates should have a genuine interest in security work and a commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
