About The RoleOverall Purpose of the RoleAs a representative of OCS Security you will ensure that an exceptional end to end service is provided as per the contract requirements. You will ensure that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner and all relevant legislation is adhered to. You will be working on a variable shift rota between 07:00 to 22:00, 40 hours per week. Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role
- To provide exceptional first line manned guarding to the assigned contract.
- All assigned duties are achieved in a timely manner.
- Compliance with all identified legislation, i.e. H&S, SIA Licensing & Risk Assessments.
- To protect the security and safety of the identified buildings and personnel through as per the contract Assignment Instructions.
- All duties carried out in an honest, ethical and professional manner.
- To carry out any reasonable request as identified by your Line Manager.
General Portering and Security
- Portering Duties - This mainly comprises of pharmacy runs, postal delivery and general office equipment moves as and when required. Security - Comprising of meeting and greeting staff and visitors, and security/safety of the building, staff and property. Reception Based
- First point of contact for pharmacy, postal and security services. Educational Level
- A good general level of education. Ideally GCSE Maths & English Professional Qualifications
- SIA License (Manned Guarding) Experience
- Previous experience of working within a customer focused environment.
- Ideally has experience of working within the Security Industry.
