The school require a teaching assistant to support students' learning across Key Stage 3 and 4, and the ideal candidate will have experience supporting pupils with social, emotional and mental health difficulties in an alternative provision or PRU setting.The successful candidate will demonstrate resilience, patience and an ability to strike up rapport and develop relationships with SEMH pupils. Pupils arrive at the school having struggled to access learning in their previous school/s, and clear routines and therapies are implemented in school to help re-engage students with the education system. The personal relationships developed with pupils ensure that each one achieves their potential both academically and personally.
Rates of £85-£95 per day are available, dependant upon experience - with the school looking to take someone on through an initial long term, temporary period, with a view to subsequently offering a permanent contract to the right candidate by Christmas 2024.
