Role Overview :

As an SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be integral to the school's team, working closely with students who have Social, Emotional, and Mental Health needs. Also, you will be responsible for monitoring student progress and contributing to regular reviews and assessments.

Your Responsibilities :

• Supporting students in their academic and personal development
• Implementing individualised learning plans
• Providing emotional and behavioural support
• Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other professionals
• Promoting positive behaviour and self-esteem

Requirements :

• Previous experience working with children with SEMH needs (desirable but not essential)
• Eligibility to work in the UK
• DBS (or the willingness to apply)
• A compassionate and patient approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism
• Relevant qualifications or willingness to undertake training
