Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored support to students with SEMH needs, focusing on their emotional and academic development.
• Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and helping students manage their behaviour.
• Implement behaviour management strategies that encourage positive behaviours and social interaction.
• Work closely with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to support students' individual needs.
• Help students develop self-confidence, resilience, and the ability to engage positively with their learning environment.
• Maintain records of student progress and participate in meetings to assess student well-being and development.

Requirements:

• Experience working with children or young people, preferably with SEMH or special educational needs.
• A calm, patient, and compassionate approach, with a strong interest in supporting students' mental health and well-being.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team.
• GCSEs in Maths and English (Minimum Level 2/C Grade).
• Ability to adapt to different learning environments and student needs.
