SEMH Teaching Assistant 

Milk Education are recruiting for a SEMH Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with pupils with social, emotional, mental health needs in a specialist school in Liverpool. This role is to work full-time.

SEMH Teaching Assistant Role & Responsibilities:

? Promote inclusion and acceptance of all students

? Support pupils consistently whilst responding to their individual needs

? Create a safe learning environment for pupils

? De-escalate behaviour that challenges through the forming of trusting relationships

SEMH Teaching Assistant Non-negotiables:

? Must have recent/relevant experience working with children and young people, specifically those with SEND/SEMH.

? Must have a passion for education

? Must have the ability to work under the guidance of the teacher
