SEMHTeaching Assistant -Greenwich
A friendly, hardworking PrimarySchool in the Borough of Greenwich are looking to recruit a SEMHTeaching Assistant.
As a SEMHTeaching Assistant you will be working on a 1:1 basis with a child with behavioural difficulties in the mornings. You will be using strategies to support and develop the child’s academic and emotional progress in your role as a SEMH Teaching Assistant. In the afternoons, you will provide general Teaching Assistant support to other children within the class.
In your role as a SEMH Teaching Assistant, you will be working in a school that has high academic aspirations, whilst maintaining a caring and nurturing school community, developing a true love of learning in every child.

Supporting a child with behavioural difficulties (mornings)
Providing general TA support to the class (afternoons)
1:1 and group support - In and out of the classroom
Working alongside a range of professionals and SENCO
Long Term & Full Time - until at least July 2025
£85 - £100 per day (depending on experience)
Strong academics - degree (ideal), A levels & GCSEs
Good understanding of SEN is required
Experience in a previous role, or personal experience with SEN would be ideal
Calm and compassionate nature
Holds a registered DBS or be willing to apply for one ASAP
