Semi Senior Accountant - Butler Rose : Job Details

Semi Senior AccountantHuntingdonSalary £25,000 - £38,000

Butler Rose are assisting a top 60 firm with a great opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to join it's Huntingdon office's Business Services Team to assist with wide variety of work. This role can offer you exposure to a broad and engaging portfolio including manufacturing, construction, technology, professional firms, charities and farms.

Role Responsibilities

• Preparing financial accounts
• Corporation and personal tax compliance
• Basic Bookkeeping
• Preparation of VAT returns

Personal Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience within a UK accountancy practice environment
• Part (minimum level 3) or fully AAT qualified
• Looking to commence, or be within the early stages of the ICAEW/ACCA qualification
• Understanding and experience of personal and corporate tax
• IT proficiency and the ability to use MS Office (Word, Excel), Sage Line 50, Xero and QuickBooks. Familiarity with CCH software would be useful
• Full clean UK driving licence and access to own transport, with the willingness to travel to clients' premises and other Cambridgeshire office when necessary
