Semi / Senior Accountant

We have a fantastic new vacancy for a Semi / Senior Accountant. The ideal candidate with be studying towards their ACA/ACCA qualification and/or AAT qualified with previous experience working within a UK practice environment.

Senior Accountant Key Responsibilities:

• Planning and delivery of accounts assignments, to include business support work such as management accounts and VAT returns.
• Calculating and advising on corporate and personal taxation.
• Be actively involved with the growth of the practice.
• Regular contact with clients in relation to their business needs and maintaining these relationships to identify further client service opportunities.

Key Skills required:

• Experience in preparation of year-end accounts for a range of clients across different sectors
• Exposure to cloud-based software such as Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks
• Familiarity in preparing both personal tax and corporation tax returns
• Good standards of written and verbal communication
• Great attention to detail
