Semi Senior Accountant - TPF Recruitment : Job Details

Our client is a well-established chartered accountancy practice based near Pembury, Tunbridge Wells. They are seeking an experienced Semi - Senior Accountant to join their team. The successful Accounts Semi Senior will ideally be AAT qualified and/ or ACA or ACCA part qualified, or qualified by experience. This is a mixed tax & accounts position, ideal for an experienced Semi Senior Accountant or Accounts trainee looking to join a growing team. Within this position, the successful Semi-Senior Accountant will be given excellent opportunities to progress within their knowledge and career while working with a supportive team. They will also be offered AAT/ ACCA/ACA study support.

• Preparation of statutory accounts
• Preparation of management accounts for a variety of clients
• Preparation of corporate tax and personal tax computations
• Preparation of VAT returns
• General bookkeeping using cloud software- Xero, QuickBooks, Sage etc.
• Supporting the directors with ad-hoc advisory work
• Assisting more junior members of staff

• You will be AAT qualified or part qualified, or ACA/ACCA part qualified, or qualified by experience
• You will have a minimum of 2 years experience within practice.
• Experience of cloud software such as Iris, Xero, Sage or QuickBooks would be advantageous.

• £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.
