Semi Senior Accountant - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

This practice have built a strong reputation for providing excellent advice and first class services to business and personal clients, boasting many clients in the local community and service businesses, small and large, across many sectors.

This is a growing accountancy practice, and are looking to recruit a young, hungry, and ambitious individual, who is planning to grow and develop their skills and understanding, growing their career alongside the practice

• Preparation of management accounts, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Preparation of statutory accounts in accordance with UK GAAP/IFRS
• Handling VAT returns, and bookkeeping responsibilities
• Assisting clients with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Learning and training within audit, which could cover 10% of the role
• Managing deadlines and ensuring timely submission of accounts

• Experience with management accounts and statutory accounts, with a willingness to learn in these areas
• Always looking to learn, train, and develop your skillset
• At least 2 years experience in accountancy practice
• AAT studying or qualified, or ACCA part qualified
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
• UK Citizen with no requirement for sponsorship

• Salary depending on experience, ranging from £23k-30k
• Hybrid working - 3 days in office, and 2 days from home
