Semi Senior Accountant - Bennett & Game Recruitment : Job Details

Bennett & Game are delighted to be working with a highly experienced accountancy practice as they recruit for an ambitious semi senior accountant. They are offering up to £35k, 25 days holiday, study support, and work-life balance to suit you.

This practice holds a group of subsidiaries, and are dedicated to continued, modernised growth. This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant with a minimum of 2 years practice experience, part ACA/ACCA qualified, looking to grow and progress their career further.

• Prepare year-end statutory accounts for a range of businesses, within a varied portfolio
• Assist with the production of monthly and quarterly management accounts
• Reconcile bank accounts, ledgers, and financial statements
• Prepare corporate tax computation and returns for clients
• Assist in the preparation of self-assessments
• Production of VAT returns
• Carrying out general bookkeeping activities
• Support senior members, and mentor juniors, when applicable

• Part Qualified ACA or ACCA. Would consider AAT qualified, looking to study ACA/ACCA
• Minimum of 2 years accountancy practice experience
• Experience and confidence in accounts production, VAT returns, and client management
• Able to commute to Maidenhead
• No requirement for visa sponsorship

• Competitive salary range, dependant on experience, ranging from £28-35k per annum
