Semi Senior Accountant - LGS Vision Recruitment : Job Details

LGS Vision Recruitment are delighted to be working with a forward-thinking firm of accountants as they search for a Semi Senior to join their growing team.

Our client is based in Kings Lynn and they are looking for a Semi Senior Accountant to join the team.

Role:

Audit and Accounting

• Processing client records to final accounts stage
• Continued development including attending training courses, webinars, leadership, management development and continuing professional development programmes
• Completing work programmes and administration paperwork
• Contact clients for information
• Attending client’s premises and assisting on external audit when required
• Provide projections and forecasting information
• Produce and analyse management information specific to the client requirements
• Utilise a variety of paperless software applications
• Raise bills

VAT

• Processing client records to draft VAT return
• Complete VAT return when checked
• Communicate with clients when the VAT return is complete and submit it to HMRC

Tax Compliance

• The preparation of corporation tax returns and submission to HMRC
• The preparation of self-assessment tax returns, to include detailed capital gains computations and preparation of schedules of income from property and self-employment
• Processing information on computerised tax software to produce returns and calculations
• Awareness of tax planning strategies and changes in legislation

Qualifications:

• Part or fully qualified AAT, or qualified by experience

Package:

• £26,000 - £32,000
• 25 days per annum plus Bank Holidays
