Semi Senior Accountant - Clarify Consultancy Ltd : Job Details

Due to continued expansion our client, a leading accountancy practice is actively seeking an experienced and dedicated Hybrid Semi Senior/Senior Accountant to complement their friendly team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance, duties to include:

- • Ensure accounting team meets monthly KPIs (bank reconciliations, VAT & payroll).• Preparation/ Reviewing of self-assessment tax returns.• Providing basic personal & corporate tax advice.• Preparation of annual accounts to final stage• Preparation of corporation accounts to final stage• Dealing with HMRC and Client HMRC queries and correspondence.• Customer service - answering telephone calls and emails and dealing with queries and complaints.• Promote quality of service delivered to clients for retention and growth.• Preparation and Review VAT returns• Report to managers & senior managers on personal and team• Attending client meetings as appropriate• Work as an integral team member to support and achieve the Company one team goal.• Acting as an ambassador for the company and supporting and promoting the Company objectives and themes, promoting the highest standards of behaviour and attitude.• Commit to own professional development, enhancing and improving skills and knowledge to the benefit of all.• Using one’s knowledge, experience, and skillset to enhance, teach and develop other staff within the business, as appropriate, to help future proof the company

The successful candidate will possess experience within a Chartered Accountancy Practice and ideally you will be studying towards ACA/ACCA qualification. This dynamic practice is committed to ongoing support and development of its staff and encourages further study to gain future internal promotion.
