• Managing a portfolio of clients and ensuring monthly bookkeeping is completed to a high standard
• Performing daily bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining sales ledgers, preparing supplier payment runs, and bank/credit card reconciliations
• Ensuring transactions are accurately processed in client books
• Preparing monthly/quarterly management reports and VAT returns
• Supporting clients in their journey towards Making Tax Digital
• Assisting senior accountants with year-end accounts and tax return preparation for various entities
• Helping with administrative tasks to support the practice

• Proficiency in Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Dext, Outlook, and Excel
• A strong understanding of double entry, VAT, and UK tax laws
• Excellent communication skills, both in person and virtually, to interact with clients confidently
