• Prepare financial statements and accounts for clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and VAT computations
• Handle bookkeeping duties using Xero, Sage, QuickBooks, and Kashflow
• Support senior accountants with client audits and advisory work
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Liaise with clients over the phone and in person, providing advice and resolving queries
• Assist with ad-hoc projects and tasks as required

• ACA or ACCA part-qualified or studying, with experience in UK practice
• Experience preparing accounts for various client types
• Knowledge of VAT returns and HMRC correspondence
• Proficiency in bookkeeping software, especially Xero (experience with Sage, QuickBooks, and Kashflow is desirable)
• Good understanding of Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Confidence in liaising with clients and working as part of a team
