Role Responsibilities

• Accounts Preparation: Prepare limited company accounts, statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and small limited companies.
• VAT and Payroll: Review and submit VAT returns, and understand and prepare payroll.
• Tax Returns: Prepare self-assessment tax returns (advantageous but not essential).
• Client Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, HMRC, and colleagues to resolve queries.
• Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to trainee team members when required.

Candidate Requirements

• AAT Qualified, Part-Qualified ACCA, or Qualified by Experience (QBE)
• Proficiency in accounting packages such as Excel, Xero, Sage, and QuickBooks

• Friendly, punctual, and professional demeanour
• Ability to work well under pressure, both independently and as part of a team
