Role Responsibilities

As a Semi Senior, you’ll take on a variety of responsibilities, including:

• Preparing statutory accounts for a variety of clients across different industries
• Completing VAT returns, bookkeeping, and management accounts
• Supporting the preparation of corporation and personal tax returns
• Liaising directly with clients to gather information and resolve queries
• Managing workflows to meet deadlines and maintain high-quality service
• Assisting in the preparation of financial reports and providing insights to clients

Candidate Requirements

• AAT qualification or be actively studying towards ACA or ACCA
• Previous experience in an accountancy practice (essential)
• Strong technical skills in accounts preparation and bookkeeping
• Good organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple client deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for building client relationships
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
• Experience with accounting software such as Xero, QuickBooks, or Sage (preferred but not essential)
