Role Overview: Support teachers by planning and delivering educational activities for individuals, groups, or whole classes. Monitor and report on student progress.
Key Responsibilities:

- Ensure student safety and well-being.
Primary Duties:
- Set up learning environments and resources.
- Adapt lessons as needed.
- Monitor and assess student progress.
- Provide feedback on achievements.
- Support behavior management and independence.
- Communicate with parents about progress.
- Create lesson plans and materials.
Student Support:
- Assess and support student needs.
- Build positive relationships and set high expectations.
- Develop and implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
- Promote inclusion and cooperative learning.
- Encourage independence and self-discipline.
- Provide progress feedback.
Curriculum Support:
- Deliver and adapt learning activities.
- Implement learning strategies.
- Use ICT to enhance learning.
- Select and prepare resources.
- Advise on specialized aids and resources.
Organizational Support:
- Follow policies on child protection and safety.
- Ensure equal learning opportunities.
- Contribute to the organization's goals.
- Collaborate with other professionals.
- Develop multi-agency support approaches.
- Mentor other teaching assistants.
Management Duties (if applicable):
- Supervise and coordinate teaching assistants.
- Conduct team meetings.
- Represent teaching assistants in staff meetings.
- Mentor and support colleagues.
