SEN Learning Support Assistant - UES1

Location: HarrowContract Type: Full-TimePay Rate: £96-£110 per dayStart Date: ASAP

Are you passionate about supporting children with SEND? Uniform Education are working alongside a 'Good' Ofsted-rated school in Harrow and we are seeking two dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant (TA) to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support to a child with autism, helping them to engage in learning and build confidence.
• Assist the class teacher in creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
• Implement strategies to manage challenging behaviours and promote positive social interactions.
• Adapt learning materials to meet the child’s individual needs.
• Work closely with the school’s SENCO, teachers, and parents to monitor progress and update plans as needed.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN), specifically autism.
• A current DBS on the Update Service, or the willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships.

Monday to Friday (8:30am - 4pm)
